Grzyb - Hundla won Leg 1 on Eger Rallye 2016

First rally of the Slovak Rally Championship 2016 had completed  its first leg! After a long and extremely demanding fight Grzegorz Grzyb with Robert Hündle (Ford Fiesta R5) became the winner.

The Hungarian and Slovak rally season started in those days in hungarian Eger on the 11th year of the popular Eger Rallye. 128 crews started into Leg 1 with 84,5 km of the special stages and 95 from them finished. The spectators around the track and also those in the online results, watch the thrilling fight for tenths seconds right from the morning. CSpecial stage victories was shared up to five crews. Most first places (three) wins home crew Norbert Herczig - Igor Bacigál on his Skoda Fabia R5. Even that was not enough for them to gain an absolute primacy. It for themselves get Slovak Rally Champions from the year 2014, Poles Grzegorz Grzyb with Robert Hundla. Grzegorz Grzyb to his success in the first stage, said: "I am very happy for this result becouse it is the first rally after my short convalescence. Today I feel so "moderately well", but it is night before us, I will sleep and the leg two continues tomorrow and we will fight on. We went very quickly because all drivers were fast. Not only Norbi Heczig from which we expect most, but alo Valoušek or Hadik. So it was interesting pace and I think that everybodu enjoyed it all the spectators and sponsors, and our drivers. This season will be really interesting."

Competition's crew had a hard technical problems, defects or accidents during this day. Nine of them, which competed in Slovak Championship had not seen today's finish, five of them will restart to the second day.

55 crews of the "Rallye2" championship and sich Slovak (Slovak Rally Cup) will be added to the main grid on Sunday.
Six special stages with a length of 60 km are prepared or Leg 2. The first one starts in the morning about 8:04 am.
