The eleventh edition of Eger Rallye will be held just three weeks. Entry List are filled with known names now, slowly confirmed but also refuted rumors about changes in the competing cars techniques in teams for the upcoming season.
The first event in the Slovak Rally Championship will be popular Hungarian Eger Rallye, which be held in the date April 1 - 3. The route comprise two stageswith total lenght 461.35 km, 145 km of which consists of special stages on seven different tracks. The current list of MSR and SRP entries contains 27 competitors.
The first entered crews was KL Racing Team / Tomas Kukučka with Rado Mozner with their novelty Skoda Fabia R5 and Pavol Cireň with Marek Podobnik on the Honda Civic Type R. A crews Jaromír Tomaštík with Robert Baran and Igor Drotár with Robert Muller are still the only WRC vehicles registered for the MSR, the first of them on the Subaru Impreza WRC and the second on Skoda Fabia WRC.
Cars og R5 group currently dominate in regional and national championships and for this season they have procured by MSR teams which want to compete for the title of Slovak champion. In addition to Kukučka this group include Vlastimil Majerčák with Michaela Vejačková (Ford Fiesta R5), Pavel Valoušek and Veronika Havelková (Skoda Fabia R5) and József Gábor Trencsényi with Verba (Ford Fiesta R5).
In the list of the received entries there are also reigning champion in Class 6 - Tomas Fusko with Jakub Slovak in a Peugeot 208 R2 and masters in class 8 - Polish drivers Slawomir Kurdys with Michal Kasina on the Honda Civic Type R. A nice news is the transfer pair Kamil Svec - Erik Svec from the Slovak rally Cup tu MSR. Mario Csente return to the track after a year break, which will be on his Subaru Impreza WRX Sti navigated by Petr Těšínsky.
Among entered crews while not feature reigning champion Slovakia, Jaroslav Melichárek with Erik Melicharka, but not vice-champion, Grzegorz Grzyb with Robert Hündle.
Deadline for entry with a reduced entry fee is set just for today, March 13, and the total Deadline for entry is March 16.
